We are currently looking for an experienced Class A or B Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our Class A licensed company!

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, skilled and qualified individual to develop their career and broaden their experiences.

Key Competencies:
• Experience in the safe handling and removal of Class A or B Asbestos
• Strong awareness and commitment to Health & Safety at work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016
• Current Full Driver’s License
• Hardworking and Reliable with excellent attention to detail
• Experience in Supervising and working in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and change tasks at short notice
• Commitment to comply with a robust drug and alcohol policy
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working at heights, in confined spaces and with elevated work platforms
• Experience in working with other hazardous substances would be an advantage
• A minimum of two years’ experience and detailed training records.

Competitive remuneration, which is dependent on individual skills and experience.

We are open to discussing all enquires: Full time, Part time, or fixed term positions. Along with any enquires from Class B Certificate persons, who may be looking to step up to a supervisor role in the future.

-1T and 30T Diggers

-25T and 30T Dumpers

-Rollers

-Truck Driving

Role requirements are:

-Full NZ Drivers Licence, with minimum class 4 – Including WTR

-5+ Years’ experience in the construction industry

-Must be able to operate a wide range of machinery

-Must be able to pass a drug test

To be successful in this role you will be:

-Committed,hardworking and be dedicated to the job

-Have a good work attitude and attendance record

-Be Competent in completing all the required paper work related to the job you are working on.

-Be flexible with working Saturdays and sometimes long hours, which can range from 7:00am –  5.30pm

-Able to use your initiative and work unsupervised

-Have excellent communication and good networking skills with other staff and sub-contractors.

82 Wallace Street is well known for being the run down bungalow in Wellington, that could have fallen down with a big enough gust of wind or a tiny earthquake.

It was a completely run-down 1930’s bungalow and was a hoarders paradise   worth more than half a million dollars, situated in the perfect location of Mount Cook, next to a bus stop and dairy and a short walk from Wellington High School and zoned for Wellington College, and not far from the Heart of Wellington City.

This Run-Done bungalow sold on March 31st 2017 and Wellington City Council had deemed the property and emergency to pull this down before falling down itself and injuring someone in the process. No-One had been in the House since Wellington Council issued a dangerous note on this house late 2016.

Quality Demolition took to Wallace Street on Thursday 22nd June, with nothing other than our excavator and pulled it down within 60 Minutes reducing it rubble and discarding the remnants to the landfill with nothing being able to be salvaged from the poor conditioned house!

When Frank died in February 2015, his daughter Vickie Amor-Ponte agreed to having Frank’s Shed demolished.

With the end of the job Vickie sent a lovely email

Hi Quality Demolition,

The Photos look pretty amazing of how you guys left it and I love how you retained the mountain side – my sister Marg said it looks like Picasso. Some people are amazed how big the space looks now there is no shed. The neighbour right next door was saying how the toilet is still there but, I am glad you left it. I got some nice photos of you guys working especially the roof coming down . You guys are so professional and it shows in the videos.
